Playing it Healthy
Exercise is indeed an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. We need exercise to be physically fit and have a healthy body. Exercise involves physical activities that improve the body’s flexibility and increases muscular strength and endurance. It can also build healthy bones, muscles and joints. Physical activities also have positive effects in the psychological aspect of humans. It reduces feelings of despair and anxiety, improves mood and promotes a sense of well-being. There are also claims that people who exercise regularly have a lower risk of suffering from stroke.
There are different forms of exercise which could be as light as walking in the morning to something as heavy as playing certain sports like swimming or athletics or going to the gym to carry some weights.
Badminton is my favorite sport. Whenever I play badminton, I feel so light and fast as if I can catch and hit the shuttle cock anywhere it lands. Since it is my favorite, I play badminton three times a week. Before, it was just a hobby for me, until I read articles about how much it burns calories in the human body! Knowing how much calories it burns makes me love playing the sport more! 300 calories in an hour is no joke!
